Ushuaia, Argentina: A long road to nowhere

September 15, 2019 Jim Leave a Comment

Ushuaia, Argentina proudly proclaims itself as “The End of the World.” And with good reason. Just look how far it is from Buenos Aires, its national capital, and from La Quiaca, the northernmost town in Argentina.

Reminds me of a song by Mickey & The Motorcars, one of my favorite Texas bands (even though they’re originally from Idaho). The song’s called “Long Road to Nowhere.”

Wonder if they were thinking about Ushuaia when they wrote it.
