Normanville, South Australia: Another crowded Australian beach

March 13, 2020 Jim 2 Comments

We stopped at a government tourism office on the Fleurieu Peninsula to ask if they could recommend a good local place to have lunch. The nice woman behind the counter suggested the restaurant on the beach in Normanville.

It was a perfect recommendation.

Normanville’s population is 1,632. Its beach is big, beautiful, and empty. There’s one restaurant. Twenty people in the restaurant, maybe another half dozen on the beach.
