Bourton on the Water, England: When the cat’s away Part II

I keep getting photos of people in our swimming pool while we’re gone. It’s cold and rainy here in Bourton on the Water — in other words, perfect weather for England — but we wouldn’t mind a little of that hot Texas weather right now.

I guess I should just be happy that Coach isn’t wearing his Speedos in this photo.

Hi Jim and Jamie, it was so lovely to meet you this morning. Your trip looks fabulous, we are so jealous. Well, maybe not about the Welsh bit!!!
You still have a couple of days left here and I just thought I would mention yet another fabulous English Village pub. It is called The Kings Head at Bledington which is a lovely little village. It is about a 10 minute drive from Bourton but really is a quintessential English Pub but the food and atmosphere is fabulous and it is in a lovely surrounding. It is not flash but relaxing and comfortable. If you get chance I think you would both love it. The menu for lunch and dinner is a good mix of quality local produce freshly made and they do a house burger which even you Yanks would respect if you are burger fans. have a look on their web site if you like the sound of it.
Anyhow, we will keep looking at your blog over the next few months and look forward to reading about your progress…..especially in Wales.
    Good Luck,
    Robin & Lynne.
