In reply to Ray. That’s not the case here, though. Sydney residents have plenty of cold weather in winter, so they know what it’s like. And this is actual winter weather in summer. We just had our first really warm day here in Angaston, but now it’s turned cool again. Neighbors John and Margaret, who’ve lived in Angaston for 60 years, say they’ve never seen a winter, spring and summer as cold as this one.

I remember visiting Hawaii one time when it was 75 degrees. All the locals were wearing fleeces since they were used to 80 degrees.

Jim, it is pouring with rain in Sydney right now. Very soggy really. When we told a lady from NSW (Moree) while in the New Art Gallery, that we are visiting from Adelaide, she seemed to "melt" at the word n asked why would we leave BEAUTIFUL ( her words) Adelaide to go to Sydney, n I am beginning to wonder, although it was always been a wonderful city to us. I did sit in the car today with the seat as far back as possible so not to be an anxious, annoying passenger.
