There’s another of these old cottages for sale just around the corner from us. It’s on a triple wide lot, the house looks absolutely perfect, and the grounds are perfect. The asking price is $650,000.

I’d love to buy it, but Aussie laws prohibit foreigners from buying heritage properties like this. We could buy a new home or condo, but not one that’s been previously owned.

Damn it.
