We’re taking a brief vacation from our vacation. Our friends Ken and Sue spend a few days every year in beautiful little beach town called Goolwa, two hours south of the Barossa, and recommended it highly. We took their advice.
Goolwa is pretty damn pretty. But Port Elliot, just a dozen minutes down the road, is even prettier. It’s like Angaston on the beach. Same population (Angaston is 1,900 and Port Elliott is 2,030). Both have one main street filled with beautiful old stone Federation buildings. Angaston’s side streets veer off into the vineyards and Port Elliott’s meander off toward the beaches.

You guys find the coolest places.

It’s a big, empty country, Raymundo. It has a lot of places that would be covered with condos in America.
