Angaston, South Australia: My new hobby – watching the Aussie dollar drop

The Aussie dollar has taken a beating in the last few years and now sits at a multi-year low. China is Australia’s biggest trading partner, and the Coronavirus has made the swings even wilder, so everything now costs a fraction of what it would cost in American dollars. We’re actually spending less here than we would be spending if we were back in Texas.
