Pindarie is our favorite South Australian winery. It sits in one of the loveliest locations imaginable with its vineyards on one side and fields of wheat on the other. A flock of sheep graze peacefully just beyond the winery and low, rolling hills at far end of the Barossa Valley sit in the distance.
And Jamie would tell you that it’s home to a cute little dog named Patch who casually makes his way from table to table wheedling scraps out of the customers at each stop.
Pindarie is normally open only for lunch but held a special sunset dinner the other night. We signed up as soon as we heard about it.
These damn Aussies are sooooooo irreverent. It must be genetic because how else can you explain this kind of irreverence from five year olds? God, these people make us laugh.
Here’s Jamie and Patch from a few years ago. He’s a very persuasive little bugger.
